General membership meetings are open to all bargaining-unit members. Labor-management meetings are limited to designated representatives but the topics covered are reported back at general meetings.

    Quarterly meeting with Library administration. Limited to designated Union and Library representatives.

Per the contract

The Library and AFSCME meet in labor-management meetings on a roughly quarterly cadence (Article 16, Section 6). Up to five members from each side attend during regular work hours; these meetings are advisory and not a substitute for collective bargaining.

Successor contract bargaining is scheduled to begin by February 2029 per Article 19.
